Next comic Today's comic

The First update:

Okay, to be quiet honest I am still trying to figure all this automation, and junk out.  I'm having trouble actually figuring out how to use Keenspace, as to when I log on it doesn't detect my user name... ahh such is life.  I'm sure I will get there eventually.  Supose I should take this time to introduce this comic-- or should I say what you can look forward to reading once I get some stuff up.  I suppose you already know that this isn't a sci-fi comic, or a furrie comic, or even some catchy-humor work.  well your wrong, this comic is sort of the worst kind of hybred, I have to say.  The concept is taking elements of drab real life, and run with it.  I wanted to have somthing I could go off with and not get bored with but also be a soap box for my thoughts, and well a whole lot of stuff.  If you've heard my music, or seen my writing or know me, you'll be one to agree that nothing is ever simple with me.  So yeah, you'll get anthros as created by a mad scientist, evil uber sorcerors, aliens, and of course the guys who can't get enough of freezepop and Wolfsheim.  ^_^.  And I've just confused you more.  Decypher, in short is the life and times that sorround this coffee shop called the Grind cafe and the stuff that goes on in the world it exists in.

This comic pulls from a lot of sources, mainly (as how it usually works) things I like, and things I hate do make a large percentage of the page, and my own experiances.  The idea deep down, is to make you look at the trial of everyday life and have a little fun with them.  I can't say that everything here is real life, cause now what fun would that be, but I did want to have a good basis everyone could relate to.  and dealing with the subject manner and my own sense of humor.  That concept just hit home.  The ideas are deep and complicated but I wanted it to not be so intellectual/thinking man.  There are many ways to read this little scrawling of mine.

So since this a teaser and sort of the first glimpse of Decypher, I'll go into the storylines I've got cooking to wet your appitite down the line.  and how the comic sets up, and my own scheduale that is residing in my head.  The comic is gonna work on a every three week scheduale, if I can get it going it might be quicker as time goes by but I'm really thinking three weeks to do the comic will work out just fine.  The comic will be six panels longs, per update and every third update will be in color, I'm thinking this so that its sort of a treat like sunday comics, as for on-line comics in this media, its more like reading the comics in the paper than your average super hero, or manga titles that we pick up with greedy hands.

So what's going to happen in this comic?  well the first three or four updates are going to show the opening of the cafe, and the connection between the two owners.  after that we'll begin to meet the employees as they get hired, and begin to meet some of the reaccuring characters, like the coffee shops regulars.  From there we'll be having a few updates just to see connections, and let us wonder about some of the characters (mainly we'll see some interesting foreshadowing for the two owners) from there we'll see stryder and Matt two of te employees challenge some gamer geeks into a Table top RPG face off that will work into the first big storyline.

Yeah so thats that.  I'll see you all in 21 days (I hope) for the first strip.  Have fun.
